Directions: You will create an informational slide show (PowerPoint or Google Slides) for your classmates explaining a Genetic Disorder. The majority of this project will be done in class – so please do NOT do the project at home and then come to school with nothing to do

- You must use at least 2 book sources (non-digital) to find factual information. The textbook counts!
- You must use at least 3 of the websites provided on this Genetic Disorder Website, but no more than 5, to find factual information.
- You must answer the following 7 questions before you can begin creating your slide show.
- What is the disease or disorder in question? (what are you telling us about?)
- What are the causes of the disease or disorder?
- What are the symptoms of having this disease or disorder?
- What are the treatments or preventions of the disease or disorder?
- How is it passed from one person or generation to another?
- How is it detected or diagnosed?
- Are there any benefits to the disease or disorder? What are they?

Power Point Requirements:
- 5-10 slides
- All 7 answers must be used in your slide show
- Information must be typed in your own words...NOT cut & pasted from a web site.
- Must have 2-5 images that explain or illustrate your genetic disorder (images must be cited and included on your bibliography page). NO MORE THAN FIVE!
